If you follow these tips, you will start making more sales, boosting your commissions and income.

Promote the right products.

The first tip on how to boost affiliate sales is to promote the right products to the right people.

If your audience wants to lose weight, promote weight loss products. If your audience wants to make money online, promote online courses and products.

Yes, some people want to lose weight and make money online, but those are not the majority if you mix up the products.

You may make the other group angry, and they will stop following you or unsubscribe from your email list.

Choose affiliate programs wisely.

We do affiliate marketing to make money, but this does not give you a ticket to promote garbage out there.

Choose affiliate products wisely; remember, people who follow you are real people with real problems, so give them a real solution.

If it is possible, buy the product yourself and use it. If you get results with the product, you can recommend it to others.

Diversify your affiliate partners.

I used to promote this great affiliate program. One day, I received a note that the product’s creator immediately took it from the marketplace.  The links were inactive the same day, and I lost all my affiliate income.

To avoid such a scenario, you must have multiple affiliate partners. You can pick a product that complements each other or a different solution that solves the same problem.

Another thing that might happen is that the solution you are proposing to your audience does not work for some of them, so you need to find another product that offers a different solution.

For example, If I promote a product that teaches people how to make money on Clickbank, but I know the majority of my audience is from Clickbank-banned countries, I will also promote a product that teaches them how to make money in WarriorPlus or any other alternative, this way I do not leave another part of my audience without a solution.

Write product reviews and tutorials.

Most people will type ‘Product name + review’ online before buying a product. If you can find a good product that you think will help your prospects, write a review about it, the things you like about the product, the bad things about the products ( if any ), and then recommend it to your audience.

If you use a product and you can show proof, people will love it and buy it.

Another way to boost your affiliate sales is to have a tutorial, which can be written or video, to show people how to use the product.

There is a chance that a person who wants to learn how to use a product already has the product or wants to buy it.

At the end of the tutorial, share your affiliate link with them. If they want it, they will buy it.

Disclose affiliate links.

If you promote an affiliate product, let your prospect know it is an affiliate link; this will portray you as honest, and people are likelier to buy.

People are not stupid. They know it is an affiliate link, and you make money if they buy using your link. Telling them upfront will not change their decision to buy or not to buy the product.

Create landing pages.

Your followers know you and not a product vendor, so one trick you can use to boost affiliate sales is to create a landing page or a bridge page. This is the page your prospect will go to before going to an affiliate product page.

The idea of this page is to be a bridge between you and the product. You can record a short video on this page and tell your prospects about the product and what they can expect. This will warm them up, making them more likely to buy the product.

Everyone loves discounts, which are proven to help the product convert better. Use discount codes to boost your affiliate sales.

Sometimes, vendors will give you discount codes. In case you have one, please share those codes with your prospects.

If you have a blog, a podcast, or a YouTube channel, you can use SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

This is a technique where you create your content such that when people look for that content in search engines, your content will show up.

Having your content appear in search results is a great way to make sales. The beauty of this is that they do not have to be the people who know you.

Any person who can find your content can be your prospect, and they can buy whatever you are promoting.

Own the relationship with your audience.

People buy from people they know and trust, and the easiest way to boost your affiliate sales is to create a relationship with your audience.

If you have an email list, you can send them personal emails, tell them your stories and what is going on in your life ( not in detail), and ask them to share their stories. This works for me very well.

If you have a social media following, a Blog, or a YouTube channel, you can do this by replying to their comment, sometimes by adding likings to the comments.

This works well because people will be more connected to you and more likely to buy from you.

Report on affiliate link conversions.

Most affiliate marketplaces will show how many people clicked on your links and bought the products. Use this information to your advantage.

If the conversion rate is low, it could be either you are promoting to the wrong audience, your message and product do not resonate with your audience, or the product is not good enough. Find out which part of that equation is true and change it.

Run ads around peak shopping seasons.

Paid ads are the quickest way to boost your affiliate sales. Depending on the product and the niche, there are some seasons when people tend to buy more.

For example, if you are promoting weight loss products, you can run ad at the start of the year from January first, or a few weeks before summer.

In my experience, these are periods when most people want to lose weight the most. It could be a New Year resolution, or they want a beach body ready for the summer.

Build an email list.

Building an email list is the most important task as an affiliate; an email list will allow you to build a close relationship with your prospects and give you the ability to send promotional emails at any moment and make affiliate commissions.

When creating content for SEO, consider the search intent. Search intent is what the person searching that word is trying to achieve.

For example, a person who is searching for how many calories a gordita is probably you are not going to sell a gordita, but if you think about it, it could be someone who is overweight. They are worried that if they eat a gordita, they will get even more overweight.

So, if I were to create content about this topic, I would first answer their question about how many calories are in the gordita.

Then I will tell them if they are worried about eating gordita because of their weight, here is the one method they can do to lose weight and eat anything they want, then send them to an affiliate product about weight loss.


It is easier to create content about how to lose weight, but the competition is too fierce.

Post product roundups.

A product round-up is an article on your blog, a social media post, or an email that features several products in the same category or according to a theme.

As the reviewer, it’s your job to evaluate each product and help your readers make an informed buying decision.

Use Affiliate tracking software.

Affiliate tracking software will help you to know where the clicks and sales are coming from.

This way, it will be easier for you to figure out which traffic source is generating more sales, increasing the effort on that traffic source.

Let’s say you have a YouTube channel, a Blog, and a social media page. If you figure out most of the sales are coming from the social media page, it will be wise to double the effort on the social media page.

I remember last year’s Superbowl when everyone was talking about it. I emailed my list on the morning of the Super Bowl. With the subject line, ‘This is better than watching a Super Bowl,’ That was my most successful email to date. It got the highest open rate and the most sales.

Figure out the trending topics, create content around those topics, and find a relationship with your business.

Know your audience.

Another easy way to boost your affiliate sales is to study and know your audience; remember, these are real people with real problems.

Ask them what they want to learn and how, and then find a product to fix that problem; if there is no product, you can create one.

Build an affiliate network.

They say your network is your net worth. To boost affiliate sales, you need to build relationships with other affiliates.

Some affiliates will be behind you. You can help these people, and you can be their inspiration. Some will be on your level, and you can exchange ideas with this group. Some will be ahead of you, and you can learn from them.

No man/woman can become rich independently, and you need people who share the same vision as you online or offline.

To boost your affiliate sales, you need to create engaging content. There are many ways to do this, but what I prefer is to create content that will make people take action.

For example, learning how to build a landing page will make a person consuming the content take action.

If you recommend a specific landing page builder, it will be easier for them to follow along and sign up for that product.

Use Influencers.

Many people on social media have a lot of followers, and they do not know how to monetize them. You can pay them money so they can endorse you or promote your landing page.

I do this a lot with Instagram. I find people in my niche and pay some, usually between $20 to $ 50, for a shoutout; this way, I gain a lot of followers on my niche Instagram page.

Leverage social media.

If you have a social media page, you can add a landing page or an email capture page to get people to visit your affiliate product.

Most social media accounts will not let you promote an affiliate link, so you must build a landing page for this.

Another easy way to boost affiliate sales is to offer bonuses. You find a product that offers something, you study it, you see what is missing, and you offer the missing part as a bonus.

For example, I was promoting an offer that was paying me $500 per sale, and what I offered as a bonus was a 30-minute free strategic call for everyone who bought the product.

I bought the product myself, and I was applying the concepts it was easier for me to guide new buyers.

It does not have to be this way; it can be an ebook, access to your secret Facebook or Telegram group, etc.
