Unlimited email addresses.
If you have virtual assistants and staff who need their email addresses, you can create unlimited email addresses with SiteGround.
Free Cloudflare CDN.
CDN refers to copies of your web pages stored in many different servers across multiple locations.
This will translate to faster page load times because your pages will be ‘pulled out’ from a location closest to where the visitor is surfing. This is a fantastic feature in SiteGround, and it’s free.
Money-back guarantee.
You have 30 days to test SiteGround. If you’re not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.
This is highly unlikely because once you see how good they are, you’ll probably stick with them for years.
WordPress staging.
You’ll easily be able to create a WordPress staging site within SiteGround and test out your theme, plugins, etc.
You can make your site live When it looks good and functions smoothly. SiteGround makes this highly technical process very smooth and easy for almost anyone.
Support.
SiteGround’s support is fantastic. With 24/7 support, you can chat with someone on their support desk anytime.
You can quickly contact them if you have any issues with your website or hosting.
The Cons
No hosting service provider is perfect, and SiteGround has its cons too.
The Plans are limited.
For starters, your usage is limited based on your hosting plan. You only get 10 GB of web space, and you’re limited to 10,000 visitors on the StartUp plan.
If your site gets more visitors and requires more web space, you must upgrade to the GoBig or GoGeek plans.
If you are starting, this is not an issue, but it will become an issue when your blog grows.
Higher renewal price.
There’s also the issue of a higher renewal price. This seems to be a bugbear for many SiteGround customers, especially when they have to pay more once the introductory pricing ends.
You’ll want to check with their support what the new pricing will be when it’s time to renew – and then you can make a better decision.
SiteGround does not offer dedicated hosting. With this service, you must migrate your site to a web host to get dedicated servers.
My experience with Siteground
This is my first good hosting after a few years of bad experiences. It was like a breath of fresh air; their service and support are superb, and I never had issues using their product.
The first problem started when one of my sites took off. I had four blogs hosted with them at a time, and suddenly, one of them started getting a lot of traffic, and then I started getting warning messages that I was using more resources than I was supposed to.
I had no problem with this, and I was willing to pay them more, which led to the second issue when I tried to upgrade my account. The price tripled, and at the same time, WPXHosting offered a huge discount, so I decided to move my sites to WPX.
Even at the total price, WPX is the better option for sites that are getting more than 100,000 visitors per month. But if you are new, Siteground is still the best hosting.
Should You Get It?
If you’re a blogger or an online marketer starting and need reliable web hosting, SiteGround is perfect for you. It’s affordable and has all the features a good web host should have.
While it doesn’t have dedicated hosting, it’ll probably take a while to reach a level where you can afford dedicated hosting, and then you can move. Don’t pay more than necessary when you’re just starting.
