How To Reach Your Online Business Goals
Starting an online business is the easiest part, anyone can do it, but not many people can reach their goals and make an income that can pay their bills, but you do not have to be like that, here are the 3 steps to reach your online business goals.
Right down your goals
When you decide what you want to achieve with your online business you need to write it down, for me my goal to start a new blog was to make at least $5000 per month from it so that I can travel.
The time frame I gave myself to reach this goal was one year, so I took a notebook and wrote this down, I want to make $5000 from my travel blog 12 months from now. ( That is May 2024).
Trust me when I say this, writing down your goal activates something in your mind and there is a study that most people who write down their goals have more possibility of reaching their goals than people who do not write them down.
It does not have to be money, it can be the number of email subscribers, the number of followers, the number of articles or videos, your goal can be anything you want to achieve in a given time.
Refine your goal into small tasks
Now you have a big goal, you need to break it down into the small tasks. For example, if I am going back to my $5000 per month blog, this is what I will do.
In order to create a blog that makes me money, I need to do keyword research, build a blog, write articles and post them into my blog, share those articles on social media, and monetize my content so that I can make money.
Those are 6 tasks, so I will need to tackle them one after another.
If I can make on average one dollar per day per article, I know that to reach my goal I need to create at least 168 articles, If I write one article per day, in 6 months I should have that amount of articles.

Prioritize each task daily
Now you break down tasks that you need to do each day, and you need to prioritize them, if you are building a blog that will make you money, you need to start first with niche selection and keyword research, this task might take you one day, so in that day all you do is to find the topics you are going to write about.
Now you have your niche and the articles you want to write, you can go on, buy a domain, a hosting and create the blog you want, also you might need to add some pages, create a logo and configure plugins, this might take you a week maximum.
Day 9 and 10 you can use your time to create all social media for your blog, and from day 11 to the end of the year you can write a blog and post it on your blog each and every day.
You see, each day you will know what is important tasks to do on that day, this way you will not be distracted from your goal with other millions of things you can do.
Just perform the most important task for the day, then perform at least 2 other minor tasks and you are done for that day and you can use that time to spend with your family or do something else.
You can do this procedure for any goal you have in your mind, if you take action daily and perform important tasks first, I am sure you will reach your goals.
